Product Description

Sadolin Dulux Aquatech Roof Waterproof is a super durable, easy to apply, thick and elastomeric roof coating that is made with fine pigments and an extremely durable high bond polymer that provides ultimate water barrier membrane on roofs strengthened with excellent Flexibility. It also helps in reducing the surface temperature by upto 10 degree C.

Application Description

Clean the roof and parapet surface thoroughly. Apply a self-priming coat of Sadolin Dulux Aquatech Roof Waterproof over the dried surface by diluting with water up to 30%. Apply first coat of undiluted Sadolin Dulux Aquatech Roof Waterproof using brush or roller on roof and
parapet surface. Allow the surface to dry for 5-6 hours. Apply the second coat of Sadolin Dulux Aquatech Roof Waterproof at 90° to the first coat application. Achieving a proper DFT is very important for water proofing. Therefore, achieve a forced coverage of
8-10 sqft/litre. If forced coverage is not achieved apply an additional coat of Sadolin Dulux Aquatech Roof Waterproof. Allow the system to cure for 7 days before carrying out any adhesion tests. To ensure optimum waterproofing performance, the entire roof including parapets even if it is a joint
parapet wall, drainage slope of the roof and sunken floors will be covered with the coating.

  • 1. Preparing the Surfaces
    concrete, china chips, mosaic tiles, brickbat coba
  • 2. Cleaning
    Ensure surface is thoroughly clean, dry and free from all loose dirt, chalk, grease, fungi and algae. This can be achieved by brushing with a wire/stiff coir brush, followed by water jetting if required. Bituminous coating applied prior to this should be scraped off completely. Check the surface properly for any loosely held plaster surfaces. Dents and other cracks should be filled using suitable repair mortar. Fill up all minor cracks and defects with suitable Sadolin Dulux Aquatech Crack filler.
  • 3. Storing
    Store under cover, away from direct sunlight and protect from extreme temperature In hot temperature conditions, it must be stored in a temperature-controlled environment i.e. less than 30 degrees Celsius
